We currently sponsor a Weekday Golf League; Monthly Golf Outings, including clinics; Charity Golf Tournament; Networking Events; Competitive and Special Events. Check the Events Calendar for details of all Steel Magnolia Events.
"Tuesdays at 5":
Tee times are provided starting at 5:30pm at Bay Pointe every Tuesday from April through September. This venue offers an opportunity for advanced golfers to keep their game sharp while encouraging beginners to establish a handicap and learn. Often participants play 9 holes and join for dinner afterward.
Monthly Outings:
An 18-hole scramble is scheduled once a month, typically on the third Saturday of the month; clinics included some months, at at various courses in the area March through October. 18-hole stroke play is scheduled once a month Bay Pointe Country Club.
Semi-Annual Weekend Golf Getaways:
Two golf getaways are planned every year by the Events Director – Great fun and a great opportunity to spend time with other Steel Magnolias! For more information, contact Karen Deavenport.
Competitive Play:
Our annual Championship tournament (Steelmags Shootout) in the fall gives members a chance to compete with each other in stroke or scramble play. Don't miss this FUN event!

The official party to “kick-off” the Steel Magnolia season and recruit new members is held each Spring.

Offered at various times with featured educational speakers.

Annual Christmas Party:
Always a festive gathering to end the year.
